I’ll cut them all off
(I’ll cut them all off)
I will cut everyone out
(I will cut everyone out)
There’ll be nothing left but me, and I’ll breathe and I’ll breathe great sighs of relief
I’ll see what it is like to be free
I’ll sink into myself and make a world of my own
I’ll make my own God, my laws and my own code
They can’t hurt me anymore, not him, not her
I just won’t feel a thing; I just won’t let them in
I can do this alone, I wasn’t born with them and I won’t die with them
I’ve lived alone, so I can die without them
They don’t choose to see the world as I do
I’ve live alone, so I can die without them
They don’t see the colours the way I do
Just close your eyes and I’ll be gone in an instant
Just close your eyes
Just close your eyes

This song features Joel Taylor.
Musically this feels more experimental for La Dispute reminding me of their Here, Hear releases. Very atmospheric and easy to lose your self in. Perfect for the next time you’re contemplating your existence. (Also found out the guitarist builds his own pedals and used them on this record; neato!) Mikey
Amazing songs,KSE lyrics helps me a lot,i lost my father recently(2020).
The time where i was really close with him was in summer 2007 and i listened a lot to ADD Album at the time.
So hearing KSE always reminds me of him,r.i.p.
Jesse leach is an amazing vocalist and lyricist, howard too. love 'em both.
Adam is a genius period.
Mike's an amazing drawer/artist and bass player.
Joel and justin are rythm legends, scott (old drummer i think)was a beast too.
God bless you KSE cheers from France thejusticemetalsword
One of my fav releases of 2018. This album slays from start to finish. Caustic vocals, chainsaw guitar riffs and thick pummeling drums. Aussie death metal at its finest! big G
Fusing ’90s metalcore, ’00s vaporwave, and ’20s cybergrind, the Texans' debut showcases an unprecedented unholy trinity. Bandcamp New & Notable May 17, 2023
