Look down in doubt at the angel in your arms
He says, “She’s got a mouth to breathe and two eyes to see, if there’s no heaven for you there’s no
heaven for me.”
There’s no heaven for me
At some point I forgot
At some point I forgot it’s not about right and wrong but life and death
I can hold this grudge longer than you can live without love
I’ll bury us deep within a tomb of broken trust
I can’t wait until the depression comes back, at least then I won’t have to feel anything
I can’t wait until the anxiety comes back, at least then I’ll get to feel something again
I can’t wait until depression comes back, at least then I won’t feel anything
I can’t wait until anxiety comes back, at least then I will feel something again
When I point my finger, I’m aware of the three pointing back at me
That’s why I always find meaning in tragedy
I’m not as smart as I used to be, or maybe I’ve realised I was never that smart at all
It’s so easy to ignore all that’s pure when we crave darkness
It’s so hard to resist the darkness when we try to do good
If there’s no heaven for you, there’s no heaven for me
Musically this feels more experimental for La Dispute reminding me of their Here, Hear releases. Very atmospheric and easy to lose your self in. Perfect for the next time you’re contemplating your existence. (Also found out the guitarist builds his own pedals and used them on this record; neato!) Mikey
Amazing songs,KSE lyrics helps me a lot,i lost my father recently(2020).
The time where i was really close with him was in summer 2007 and i listened a lot to ADD Album at the time.
So hearing KSE always reminds me of him,r.i.p.
Jesse leach is an amazing vocalist and lyricist, howard too. love 'em both.
Adam is a genius period.
Mike's an amazing drawer/artist and bass player.
Joel and justin are rythm legends, scott (old drummer i think)was a beast too.
God bless you KSE cheers from France thejusticemetalsword
One of my fav releases of 2018. This album slays from start to finish. Caustic vocals, chainsaw guitar riffs and thick pummeling drums. Aussie death metal at its finest! big G
Fusing ’90s metalcore, ’00s vaporwave, and ’20s cybergrind, the Texans' debut showcases an unprecedented unholy trinity. Bandcamp New & Notable May 17, 2023
